Strategic Plans and Budget Performance Tools
Strategic planning is about the long term vision for the business. It is about standing where you are today and looking to the future to the organization you can build. Forecasting is about looking at that same period (today through three to five years) and quantifying the resources, revenues, and expenses that are needed and can be generated. Budgeting is about what you will do in the first year of the plan (the coming year) and how those numbers come together.
