Independence: Does Anyone Understand What the Issue Was At Enron
Enron was about corporate misconduct - inside and outside the company.  It was about the failure of auditors and other outsiders to maintain "independence".  It is about the failure to keep the consulting, accounting, and audit responsibilities separated so that outsider decisions wouldn't be unduly influenced by self-interest.  The lessons of Enron aren't just for the big guys, the little guys need to take heed to.

Just Because You Can Doesn't Mean You Should
Many times business can do to size, "leverage", or even legalities are able to do things - like overwork their employees.  Just because it is legal, it doesn't mean it is a good strategic move or that it is ethical.
